Terms & Conditions
The plain-English version of how bookings with us work. Questions about any of it? Call us on 0420 350 945 — we're a small business and happy to talk it through.

1. Bookings, payment & invoicing
Your booking is confirmed once we've agreed on the date, location and course details, and payment has been made — or, for business and group bookings, an invoice arrangement has been confirmed with us. Seats on public course dates are confirmed at the time of payment.
For business, group and corporate bookings we're happy to invoice your organisation. Payment is due by the date shown on your invoice. Quotes we provide are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2. Cancellations, refunds & rescheduling
We understand plans change. If you cancel or ask to reschedule with at least 48 hours notice before your session, you can choose a full refund or a free transfer to another date.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or don't attend your session, the course fee may be retained — though wherever we reasonably can, we'll offer a transfer to another session instead. For group bookings, this applies to the session as a whole rather than individual participants; individual substitutions within your group are welcome at any time at no charge.
If we ever need to cancel or reschedule a session (for example, trainer illness or emergency), you'll have the choice of a full refund or priority rebooking — your call.
Please arrive on time. Nationally recognised courses have minimum attendance and assessment requirements, and late arrivals may not be able to be admitted — where that happens we'll do our best to offer a transfer.
3. Certificates & course requirements
Nationally recognised training and assessment is delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd, RTO 90909. To enrol in a nationally recognised course, participants must hold a Unique Student Identifier (USI) — free to create at usi.gov.au — and provide accurate enrolment details.
Course certificates are issued upon successful completion of all course requirements, which may include online theory (for blended courses), attendance at the practical session, and satisfactory completion of practical assessment. Certificates for our signature (non-assessed) sessions are certificates of attendance.
First aid and CPR training involves physical activity, including performing CPR on manikins at floor level. Please let us know before your session if you have an injury or condition we should plan around — in most cases we can make reasonable adjustments.
4. Privacy
We collect only the personal details we need to process your booking, deliver your training and issue your certificate. For nationally recognised courses, enrolment details are shared with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) as required for certification, and reported where required by law (such as to the national VET data collection). We never sell your details. To access or correct your information, email admin@paramountfirstaid.com.au.
5. Safety, conduct & liability
Please follow your trainer's instructions during practical activities — they're there to keep the session safe as well as effective. We may ask anyone behaving unsafely or disruptively to leave a session; in that case fees are not refundable.
Course content is general training in first aid response and does not replace professional medical advice. In a real emergency, always call 000.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
